We are a very organised and very efficient group, so your jealousy is explainable. Regarding the Syndicate issue, I most likely speak for my fellow ATC members, that we will be opposing these threads in our own 'special' way.

Note about your C&P opposition line:
Putting another formatting tag inside the URL tag will make it show up correctly in the oritinal post for copy and pasting without the need to remove the space. Like this:
"[[b][/b]URL="http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/showthread.php?p=3723168#post3723168"]SOGWTT[/url] has opposed this topic."
Or you could put it in [code] braces, but that's just ugly...
Sounds like a good effort to me, by the way...

"SOGWTT" is not any form of forum moderation nor should it act as so. It looks more like forum trolling when posts are made that are saying " 'SOGWTT' opposes this thread".
The Riverside Inn is:
General Game Discussion
Gather for community discussion on Guild Wars related topics, updates and more for the Prophecy, Factions and Nightfall campaigns.
Discussion of Guild Wars 2 falls under Guild Wars related topics.

forum arrogance is at it's highest in your post my friend. ever heard of "reading the stickies"?
here you go.
Mods are usually closing threads if they are repetative when related to GW2.
In Example, posts that say stuff like "so everyone. what race are you going to be? hmmmmmm?" or other random +1 topics like that.
Mods leave up posts that have a good discussion in them, but still, we oppose them because there are enough threads like it.
If you have a problem with it, don't post in our thread. Simple as that.

Forums are intended for open discussion. There's nothing wrong with people asking or speculating about the upcoming GW2. It's human nature to be curious and discuss many things. This is how ideas and innovation occur.
And you didn't have to flame me by calling me arrogant or "mr. know-it-all".

Right then... You guys need to quit posting in threads in riverside just to get the +1's if you really want the gw2 threads to stop. There is a report post button you know. That would get the threads looked at a lot faster than just posting random crap just for the +1.

Actually, it is only the ones that don't post an opinion to the OP that are posting for +1s.
I, personally, give my opinion then put the "SOGWTT has opposed this thread." tag at the end.
I also clearly put "post your opinion so you aren't being counted as spamming". it is the people that aren't being part of the conversation that are giving SOGWTT a bad reputation.

Either way you're all just being dumb about it. Use the report post button if you're really opposed to the thread.
Personally I dont care either way what any of you do in regards to GW2, but in all reality its just the interent... It doesnt matter.
As for the flaming between people in this thread. Keep it up and it will be no more.

As much as I dislike most of the GW2 speculation threads, saying SOGWTT opposes this thread isn't going to stop people from making the threads. Forum members don't need your approval to make a thread. If you believe the thread should be closed, report it, don't say a group of forum members opposes it. I'm going to start editing SOGWTT opposes this thread from posts, because it's accomplishing nothing.

If I report a GW2 thread for being a GW2 thread (xD), the mods will close it ?

Depending on the thread, it could. Some speculation and asking for information threads will be closed.

I completely agree...
telling us to report a post because we think that it is repetative, kind of stupid. We don't agree with the post.
I don't see why you think just adding a little tag that says "SOGWTT has opposed this thread." into an opinionated thread is bad. If you wanna delete this thread/group, go ahead.
But please create a GW2 forum or something. Don't tell us what we can and cannot do to our posts when it comes to adding a little tag after a clearly opinionated post.
It is one thing to say:
"Yes. I completely agree. Adding a PvP zone that effects PvE and such, would make the game interesting. It is kind of like AB if you see the connection.
SOGWTT has opposed this thread."
It is another to say:
"No.
SOGWTT has opposed this thread."
I strived to tell people to do the first thing, but it seems some have just gone ahead and done the second or less.
P.S. there hasn't been any flaming. unless you count ROFLCats as flaming.

Saying a group of forum members opposes a thread isn't contributing to anything, seeing as nobody needs this groups permission to create a thread. It's also borderline trolling. You can post your opinion without saying this group opposes the thread.

Aye, I'll second that. I'm not a fan of cyber-bullying, which this almost seems to be. I mean, I'm all for no GW2 threads, since they get a little annoying. Just have to be a little more subtle about it.
